Life in the BAY! Almost a month in!

Updated: Oct 6, 2022

If you read my previous post about returning to Frisco, my attitude hasn't changed much. I did go to the Academy of Sciences and that was great! They currently have an insect exhibit which is hands on and pretty awesome. I loved it! I went to the East Bay and it's kinda weird. I used to always feel odd and out of sorts going to Oakland but when I went to Oakland, it felt normal, and Frisco feels out of sorts. I really am a tourist now! I went to BART, and I didn't even know what to do! I needed a Clipper card, and it was confusing for me, but the lady who worked there was very nice and helpful. I didn't know how to get to Rockridge, but I got some help while on the train. Oakland was cracking! Felt more diverse, weather is better, women are hotter, and I felt people more friendly. I went out there to meet my boy E. He was tripping off all these drivers and getting all wild and loud. I just came from Taiwan, and the driving there is HORRENDOUS compared to here, so I am super calm now on the road.

We went to Lake Merrit and hit Vegan Mob restaurant. My boy owns it, so I had to try the food. I enjoyed it. Oakland had lots of graff, music and it was cracking.

Next, we went to Alameda and hit the arcade there. High Scores Arcade is AWESOME! Hella old school games from defender to Nintendo and Super Nintendo games and a bunch more! Pay a fee and get time. I had a fun time playing Gauntlet with a mother and her daughter.

We finished the East Bay by hitting some bar and we met this woman who not only hooked me up with some doesha, but also gave me a couple pounds of blue fin tuna for a shot of whatever she had. Got her number and most def plan to link up again.

Then I came back to Frisco, city of fog! People became assholes again, and I thought the 1 California stopped on California. I walked from the Embarcadero to Octavia Street, on California, thinking the bus came on that street. I forgot that it goes from Sacramento Street AND then to California Street. I walked hella far and I asked some fake ass dude who had to look it up on his phone. He was a decent guy, but he was not a native. The fact I had to ask him made me even more generic, but then again, this city is wack now.
