So I finally decided to go to Turkey, not because it's a popular destination. Not because it's IG famous. Not because some fake-ass YouTuber recommended it to me. I went because I had a friend I grew up with back home whose parents are Turkish and who now lives there. He’s been bugging me for 4 or 5 years to come visit. Turkey was never on my radar.
