Taoyuen  County

Taoyuan is a bustling city located in the northwestern part of Taiwan, adjacent to the country's capital, Taipei. As the gateway to Taiwan, Taoyuan is home to the island's largest international airport, Taoyuan International Airport, which connects Taiwan to the rest of the world. The city is also known for its traditional culture and modern developments, including the Taoyuan Aerotropolis, a large-scale urban development project that aims to create an airport city with advanced technologies and sustainable living. Taoyuan offers a rich array of attractions, from ancient temples and traditional markets to modern shopping centers and entertainment venues. Visitors can explore the city's cultural heritage at places like the Taoyuan Martyrs' Shrine or the Daxi Old Street, or indulge in the latest trends at shopping malls like the Mitsui Outlet Park.

Taoyuen is home to industrial parks, tech companies, and a major destination for many Southeast Asian factory workers.  I don’t really have much to say here. I know I saw a waterfall in this area. I would pass by mainly or stay near the airport pre Covid, when I traveled abroad. Before knowing about “hearting” locations, I have been to several places here, but none were very memorable. I don't even have a picture for this county. Sorry folks. However...​

Zhongli District

I like this place because of the Van Damm movie called Blood Sport. I made some reference and mentioned Bolo Yeung’s role- Chong Lee. People thought I was talking about Zhongli. When I found out there was a place that sounded like Chong Lee, I had to go. Not much here but the name. I did have some rice noodles at a Taiwanese place here, though.​

我喜歡這裡因為范達美的電影，blood sports。裡面的一個角色名字聽起來就像中壢。大家會以為我在講中壢。當我發現有一個地方聽起來跟他的名字很像。我就必須來。這裡沒甚麼，就是因為他的名字。我的確在台灣餐廳吃了一些米線。
