Green Island

Green Island, also known as Lutao in Mandarin and Kauai by the indigenous Tao people, is a small volcanic island located off the southeastern coast of Taiwan. Green Island is bigger than the other 2 islands, but very similar in terms of scenery. Not as developed as Xiaoluiqui, but more than Orchid Island. One interesting fact is that Green Island had a prison back in the day. It kind of reminded me of a tropical, larger, more beautiful version of Alcatraz.​ 

這個島比上面兩個島都大，風景很相似。沒有像小琉球那樣開發，但比蘭嶼多一點。有個有趣的事實，綠島以前是監獄。讓我想到讓我想到熱帶，更大，更美麗版本的舊金山惡魔島。

Sleeping Beauty Rock 📸⭐

This was a great place to take photos. You can get down to the beach. I saw people on several occasions, but I couldn’t find the path and others didn’t know or care to share.​
